Senior Service Desk Technician

We are searching for a Senior Service Desk Technician to provide crucial technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across the business. This role involves handling escalated issues from 1st Line Engineers, diagnosing complex technical problems, and configuring new hardware assets.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Windows and Mac desktop OS, applications, network connectivity, and hardware malfunctions

- Configure and deploy new hardware assets for new starters, office expansions, and planned refreshes

- Manage user permissions and access control, ensuring adherence to security policies

- Provide 2nd Line Service Desk support, ensuring high-quality IT service delivery

Essential Skills

- Proven experience handling escalations from 1st Line Engineers

- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices

- Solid experience with Active Directory and MS Azure

- Strong working knowledge of collaboration and communication platforms, including Slack and Zoom
