Payroll Specialist

We are searching for an Interim Payroll Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting the post-implementation phase of iTrent, ensuring smooth payroll operations and assisting in the upskilling of current staff.
Responsibilities
Provide post-implementation support for the iTrent payroll system
Handle complex payroll queries, including statutory payments
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
Upskill and mentor two part-time payroll employees to ensure they become proficient in iTrent
Liaise with internal departments and external bodies as necessary to resolve payroll issues
Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments
Assist the Head of Payroll and Finance with system troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies
Prepare payroll reports and support the audit process as required
Continuously review and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency
Provide ongoing training and knowledge transfer to the in-house team
