IT Support Field Engineer

We are searching for an IT Support Field Engineer who will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems across our client's network of sites. This hybrid role will involve both on-site visits and remote technical support for 28 sites across the UK
Responsibilities
Attend each site in your designated area to provide on-site IT support
Offer remote technical assistance to faculty staff through our helpdesk system
Build, distribute, and set up IT equipment such as laptops, desktop PCs, phones, and tablets
Conduct regular IT audits to ensure the integrity and functionality of systems
Install and configure networking equipment, ensuring reliable connectivity
Identify opportunities to enhance IT systems and processes, raising suggestions during 1:1 or team meetings
Escalate complex issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
Essential Skills
1st/2nd line support experience
Valid UK Driving Licence
Happy to go through a DBS check
