Development Manager

We are looking for a Development Manager to balance leading a team of 8 developers with active participation in Python and Rust projects. The role involves overseeing project delivery, technical design, and ensuring high-quality code development
Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a development team, conducting regular performance reviews
Oversee the planning and delivery of software projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
Work with Product, QA, and Operations to align projects with business objectives
Implement best practices in development, including code reviews and testing processes
Write clean, efficient Python code and contribute to Rust projects
Ensure high code quality through regular reviews
Contribute to the technical design and architecture of new features
Identify and resolve software issues and optimise performance
Essential Skills
Experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.
Experience in a management, team lead or other leadership role.
Proficiency in Python development, including experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask
