Data Business Analyst

We are looking for a Data Business Analyst to play a key role in this transformation programme. You will be instrumental in managing and mapping data flows to ensure seamless integration from the business to the system and back out again. Your work will be central to the success of both interim and permanent solutions for the organisation’s data architecture
Responsibilities
Analysing and mapping data flows between the business, the existing system, and the new infrastructure
Collaborating with stakeholders to design a temporary solution that will be operational from 2026 until 2029 when the current system reaches end-of-life
Working alongside the programme team to define and structure data requirements for the permanent solution, to be deployed by 2029
Liaising with various departments to understand data dependencies, ensuring that the data needs of the business are fully understood and integrated into the new solutions
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation on data flows, requirements, and processes
Highlighting risks related to data handling and system transitions, proposing mitigations to ensure minimal disruption during system upgrades
Essential Skills
Strong Business Analysis skills
Knowledge of Traceability
Understanding of Data Warehousing & Data Modelling
Experience of Data Visualisation
Understanding of SOAP and REST API's
